BLACK POLYPROPYLENE MASTERBATCH FORGEOGRIDS ANDOTHER WEATHERING
APPLICATIONS
PLASBLAK? PP6252 is designed for use in PP geogrids, and other PP applications where good
weathering properties and high tint strength are needed. PLASBLAK? PP6252 has excellent
dispersion and dilutability and is differentiated by its very high concentration of carbon
black.
Note that this grade is not recommended in fibre applications.
METHOD OF ADDITION
PLASBLAK? PP6252 is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore
suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending.
ADDITIONRATE
The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final
application. Typical addition rates vary from 4.5% to 5.5% masterbatch.
